Jimb for Model Number GSH22JFXABB I am at my wits end. 6-8 weeks ago I had a problem with the freezer icing up, and the frig freezing food. I replaced both Thermistors and the defrost temperature sensor. The frig still was freezing food but the freezer was perfect. You recommended that I replace the mother board, I did and it was perfect, everything worked great. 3 weeks ago, we had a voltage surge it blew out our PC and the fridge (on the same circuit) started freezing food, the freezer is fine. So, I replaced the mother board and it was good for about a week and is freezing food again. It seems to be on a weekly cycle where it freezes food on the weekends and is ok during the week. I work from home so am in and out of the fridge about the same every day I also notice that if I have the refrigerator door open and open the freezer, I hear the flapper in the frig opening and closing with the freezer door. What's the next step?
Answer Hello Jimb. You need to check and see if the damper WR60X10215 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 28, 2016
