Barb for Model Number PSS26MSWCSS My unit takes fits and runs until it reaches -9. Most of the time I unplug it and allow it to warm up past the pre- set temperature,plug it in and it reaches the desired temp and stays there. Seems as if when you press the selection buttons for water,cubed or crushed ice or shut the door hard is when it does it most often. What can be causing this problem?
Answer Barb, You will want to check the temperature sensors in the unit to make sure that they are good. The resistance should be about 5K ohms at room temperature.
