Rabbitschomb for Model Number PSS27NHNABB I bought a new mother board wr55x10942, the old shorted out. I put the new board in and it works but, the temperature in both the freezer and the refrigerator will not go to requested or set temperature setting. Fridge set 37 degrees as sticker recommends fridge only gets to 27 degrees, but nothing is freezing. Freezer is set to zero but only gets to 2 degrees also but same scenario, but things freeze in freezer. Also ice maker will not make ice, but water dispenser gives water when desired.
Answer RabbitSchomb, You will want to check to see if the thermistors are good on the unit but with the temp getting to 27 in the fridge you will also want to check to make sure that the damper is not broken. If broken will need replaced. As for the icemaker not working then you will want to check to make sure that there is water getting into the icemaker and if there is not then it will likely be a water valve issue. Read More...
