Gordon for Model Number GSL25JFPABS The compressor relay on the main control board failed. Replaced main control board (WR55X10037) with replacement board WR55X1092. Now the food side is warm. The damper door only opens on initial start-up then closes and does not open again. Is the WR55X1092 a direct replacement for WR55X10037 ?
Answer Gordon, control [WR55X10942P] is the direct replacement for the original board WR55X10037. You may want to check to ensure that the thermistors are reading appropriately. If either of the freezer thermistors [WR55X10025] are not reading the appropriate temperature (more than likely the one that would have failed would have been in the lower portion of the freezer) then it would certainly cause this issue.
