Bill for Model Number GSS25WGSBWW My GE refrig. Is 12 yrs. old. The ice maker continues to make ice as usual. The solenoid activated chute works and the lights work on the display board. When pressing the touch pads I get no response for water,crushed ice or cubed ice. It’s not a water filter or water pressure issue. Could it be a display board or mother board problem? I held an A.C. and refrigeration license many years ago. Thank You Bill
Answer Bill, you may want to check the micro switch WR23X10783 in the dispenser assembly. When in the normal state, there should not be continuity, and when the button on the switch is engaged you should be able to read continuity between the two terminals.
