Greg for Model Number PDS22SFSBLSS Our refrigerator has lost its digital controls. I reset the breaker and they came back for awhile and now they are gone again. Completely blank. It's still running, not making any weird noises or anything. We have thermometers in there to make sure that the freezer and refrigerator are maintaining stable temperatures and so far so good. What part would we need to purchase to make our digital controls work again?
Answer Greg, The display operates on 12 VDC supplied from the J4 connector on the "motherboard" on the back of the refrigerator{J4 connector, across brown and red wires should read 12 VDC). You can also lower/remove the display assembly and check for the 12 VDC across the red and brown wires. No voltage would indicate no power from the motherboard WR55X10942C Control Board.
