Dan Hi, We have a gss25xrc ss side by side fridge freezer which is having intermittent freezer problems. Once a week or so the freezer warms up to 30 degrees or so with the fan running constantly when the setting is at 8 on both sides?
Answer Dan, You will want to check the thermistors on your unit and make sure that they are within range. The resistance rating is going to be 42.2K ohms at 0 degrees, 14.4K ohms at 37 degrees and 5K ohms at 77 degrees. If outside of this range then you will need to replace the thermistors.
