Spencer for Model Number GSH25JSTCSS Ice and water dispenser not working correctly. Sometimes it works just fine, water, ice(crushed or cubed), and light. Then the next time we go to use it, nothing works. The light above each choice is on, but when we press the lever nothing works and the light goes out. I will the press the water button and the light will come on but will not dispense water or ice. Then later that day or the next day it will work fine again. Very frustrating. Is it the dispenser control board or a connection with the door or something else?
Answer Spencer, You will want to remove the kickplate of the unit and check for a loose connection on the wiring harness that goes up through the door of the unit. This sounds like it may be the case with the unit not operating properly. If this checks ok then the issue would most likely be in the dispenser control board. Read More...
