Kevin for Model Number GE Profile GDS533ODOWW My dishwasher is 11 yrs old, and when it goes through its cycle, there is about 1-2 inches of water left in the bottom. (not every time, but more often than not latety). I start it again and then press the reset button and it drains the remaining water from the dishwasher tub. Any ideas why it is not draining fully and what can be done. Thank you
Answer Hi Kevin. Before replacing the whole pump/motor assy, you need to double check your drain hose at the sink area. Take a bucket and put the hose into the bucket. Press cancel or advance the timer to drain. Is the hose end clogged? Is the sink connection blocked? Have you cleaned the impeller area to the pump? Use dishwasher cleaner part # TJ104. Please let us know so we can assist. The pump/motor complete is part # WD26X10013. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 25, 2011
