Otis for Model Number Gsm2100g00ww When I turn my dishwasher on, the motor doesn't kick on. I get a small sound of water running, but nothing else. I took the panel off and cleaned the motor with air and manually rotated the fan. That seemed to work for a while, but now every time I run the dishwasher, I now have to manually move the motor fan with a screw driver before it will start. Do I need to replace the entire motor?
Answer Hello Otis, If you have to spin the motor by hand before the motor will start, you have a winding in the motor that has failed. The only way to correct this issue is to replace the motor assembly WD26X10013. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 5, 2012
