Bien Vu My GE 2220Z02BB Dishwasher has leak at the bottom. I open the panel and found the leak at,near the solenoid every time the water is discharged. What is the problem and what part should be replaced? I am very much a handy man, should I replace it myself or I really need a professional? Thanks
Answer Bien, Based on your post desc4ription, you most likely will need the drain valve seal WD8X181 and possibly the nut WR2X7054, Once you remove the solenoid and arm assembly it's apretty simple repair, as long as you get the new seal installed and seated around the shaft and into the pump housing, You shouldn't really need a servicer to perform this repair, if your careful.
