Andy for Model Number pfss5njxbss My compressor won't power on. I measured the resistance across all 3 compressor leads and I get 6.5 ohms across all 3 combinations. I measured the voltage on the J15 connector and it varied from 4.1v to 5.3 v. It goes up down up down about a second apart. The board had a noticeable burn mark on one of the ICs/Transistor(?) so I went ahead and replaced it. I'm still getting the same J15 voltage swing 4.1-5.3 volts and the compressor still doesn't turn on. I hate to spend another $190 for the inverter board. if it could be something else. Can I test the Inverter compressor with a 5Vdc power supply. Any other suggestions? Thanks
Answer Andy, You will want to check the connector going from the inverter board to the compressor and test to make sure that there is power going through the wire to the compressor. If there is power to the compressor then this will be a faulty compressor. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 28, 2017
