Doc for Model Number GE Monogram 48" ZIS480DX Both fridge and freezer stopped cooling. Lights, water, condenser fan all working. Initially diagnosed it as a bad inverter board so I purchased a new one from your guys (thanks btw for the super fast shipping). Still seeing the same symptoms. When plugging fridge back in the compressor appears to kick on but then just goes to a barely detectable hum. I checked and re-checked the windings on the compressor and they all match (7.4 ohms I think it was). I'm getting 120 VAC to the inverter connection. One thing I noticed though - when I pull the connector at the inverter that comes FROM the J15 pins on the main board I get 7.8 VDC (shouldn't this be between 4-6). When I go to the main board and pull the connector and test directly on the J15 pins I get about 8 VDC. Shouldn't this be higher right at the board - like 10-12 VDC? Is the main board bad do you think?
Answer Doc, With the inverter board having already been replaced then this issue would most likely be with the main board on the readings that you are getting at the main board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 28, 2017
