Mark for Model Number PDT715SYN0FS About 5% of the time the dishwasher runs normally, but never sets the clean light. About 50% of the time it runs, less than ten minutes into the cycle it stops and goes dark like it’s lost power, there is water in the sump. Soap doesn’t open. The rest of the time it will run for some part of the cycle and stop. When it does this I hear the drain pump making strange sounds, sometimes the sump has water, sometimes doesn’t. When it runs fine the pump sounds fine. If I kill power to the unit overnight it will run just fine absolutely no symptoms, it runs normally, for at least one cycle. In all cases the clean light is never on.
Answer Mark, Thank you for your question. You will want to access the main control board at the bottom of the unit. Using the tech sheet, there is a light on the board that will flash a certain sequence. The tech sheet will tell you what the light flashing represents. Read More...
