Donna for Model Number gdt695sgj2bb received the new ui board and followed the installation video. I thought what I bought was a preconfigured board for my model. when I got to the part for the personality setting, I thought maybe I should follow that. I configured my board by moving the #4 jumper according to the enclosed jumper setting table using personality 11 for model gdt695. upon completion of putting everything back together the machine would not respond. Is there a different configuration I should be using?? Thank you for your help
Answer Donna, based on the information provided, you have programmed the control properly. If the original failure was the user interface control was not operating at all, or the appliance would not power on, this could potentially be a door harness failure. Immediately after turning the power supply on, there should be 13.5 VDC at the machine control at the bottom of the dishwasher when measuring from the yellow and blue wire at pin 5 to the black and green wire at pin 2 of connector J722. If voltage is present, the same wires would be tested at the user interface control. If that voltage is missing at the user interface, the door harness WD21X21664 would need to be replaced.
