Steve for Model Number WHRE5260E1WW Hi. I have a GE WHRE5260E1WW washer. The start/pause button is becoming difficult to activate, have to push very hard. The rubber cover appears fine, it seems to be the plastic switch behind it that is failing. Can only the switch be replaced, or must the whole circuit board unit be replaced?
Answer Steve, First, remove power to the washer, then remove the screws from the top of the control panel, and "roll the panel down from the top. Check to see if the control board mounting screws are loose or may have fallen out. Then check to see if the control board mounting tabs are broken. You may still need the WH12X10323 / WH12X10323 Control Board Assembly depending on what you find. Thanks, Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 11, 2018
