Kayla for Model Number WCSR4170G0WW At first when you would go to set the washer the knob would turn feely, not making contact with the dial and you would have to set the dial by turning it around. After a few weeks of having to set my machine like that and it working fine, now my machine won't advance to different cycles during the wash and has to be manually changed to different cycles in order to complete a wash. My husband removed the knob and the whie teeth on the knob are stripped so I know the knob needs replaced. Is that the only part I need or is there something further wrong with my machine?
Answer Kayla, If the unit was able to be rotated by hand to get to each part of the cycle but not advancing on its own then the issue would be in the timer which would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 7, 2014
