Patti for Model Number JBS55S0K4SS When I turn on the broiler, it causes a spark and immediately trips the breaker for the range. This has only started happening in the last couple of days. Will replacing the electric panel fix this problem?
Answer Patti, for a spark to occur, there would be a bare wire or broken section of the broil element WB44T10009 if the spark is occurring near the element. This would need to be addressed. If the spark is occurring at the console, the wire would need to be inspected and if there is not a break or bare spot in the wire, the control WB27X45466 would need to be replaced. Read More...
