Pam for Model Number JBP35CH2CC Is it possible for a control board to overheat and go unresponsive? We were cooking a roast for an hour or 2, and using the top burners, and the oven turned off and won't turn back on. It shows the clock only, and when you press anything, it just says "0 heat min" or something. A few hours later it works again.
Answer Pam, Using the tech sheet for your machine & a multimeter, run the self-diagnostics to see if there are error codes and repair as directed. If there are no error codes check for a hi-limit thermal cutout, If there is a thermal cut out then you will need to check to see why it is getting that hot by testing the temperature probe and checking for a stuck relay on the control board.
