Kip for Model Number JDP39CK2CC I replaced the original control board with a new one, Part # WB27X45466. This one will not come on either. There is a white jumper wire on the back of the new board. There wasn't one on the old board. Do I need to remove the white jumper wire on the new board for this one to work? I have 240 volts at the plug-in.
Answer Hello Kip, thank you for contacting AppliancePartsPros.com If the original control board did not have the jumper wire then it can be safely removed from the new board. You will need to program the personality code for this model once it comes on, the personality code for yours is 13. If the control still isn't coming on after removing the jumper wire, you will need to check incoming voltage to the board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 6, 2026
