Stephen I have a GE Profile Model PSW23PSWASS. I have replaced the water valve and the icemaker. Now that the icemaker is making ice it is melting intermittently in the ice container and water is dripping down in to the freezer, primarily down the sides. I have checked the Quick Chill fan motor and it does not come on when I press the door light switch. Is it supposed to run when I press the door light switch or only when the Quick Chill option is selected on the front panel? Other thoughts on what is causing this?
Answer Stephen, The quick chill will only work when that setting is selected. If the ice is melting in the bin then would suggest to check to make sure that the unit is not sticking in defrost. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, June 16, 2018
