Sahm A video showing how this attaches to WH41X10096 would be helpful. If you want to end up with a longer hose with the inlet to the machine at one end the gooseneck to put into the plumbing drain at the other the original hose will have to be cut and the extension spliced into it. Where is the best place to cut the original hose (WH41X10096) and what tool should be used to make the cut? And why does GE make such as stupid flimsy short plastic tube for a drain in the first place?
Answer Hello SAHM. There is a video for replacement on the parts page. As for where to cut it for the extension, There is a non corrugated section you will cut and clamp. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 5, 2016
