Doug for Model Number GE wcvh6260 fww About half of the time my clothes are still very wet after washing. It's not the filter at the bottom because I've checked and cleaned it many times throughout while having this problem. I've checked the drain hose, it was clear. I never smelled smoke like from the drive belt slipping but that's what I'm suspecting. There's not actually water sitting in the bottom of the washer, just most of the time clothes or towels are so wet you can wring water out of them. Don't think its the pump because there's no water at bottom of basket- clothes are just soaked and not stuck to sides of drum like they should be as when it works right. What do you think? THANK YOU
Answer Hello Doug, Even though there is not water sitting in bottom of unit you will still want to make sure that there is no clogging of the drain pump and make sure that the vanes on the drain pump are not broken. Also check the drain that connect to the bottom of the tub for clogging. A slow drain will not allow the unit to spin at proper speeds. Read More...
