James for Model Number S2200Y0WW after washing a load in G.E. washer the tub will drain but will no longer spin. I've taken the drive belt off, it looks fine..but will replacing it fix the non-spin issue or is it something else? Thank you.
Answer James, You didn't mention if there were noises or erratic operation. The belt, isn't the issue at this point. Check that the motor does run in the spin cycle, then check the clutch kit WH5X256 to make sure it's not "slipping" and isn't worn out. It could also be a transmission or timer issue.
