Steve K for Model Number JBP78WY5WW11 The broiler element on my stove does not heat; all other components work fine. I removed the element and tested it for continuity, and it passed - 16 ohms. I also hooked up the element to 120 volt power source and it heated up. So I'm thinking it's the control board - do you agree? If so, I'm worried about the disclaimer "Wiring instructions are not included if new part does not match wiring a appliance repair person may be needed." I'm handy, but not enough so to figure things out if all the connectors don't match. Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Answer Steve. Yes, the broil element having continuity but not working when in the unit would be caused by a faulty control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 18, 2014
