By: Ge
Part Number: OEM18122088
Manufacturer Part Number: WB27X27464

This electronic oven control board manages temperature, bake/broil cycles, and the user display. Replacing a failed control can restore accurate heating and responsive controls when the oven won't start, won't heat properly, or shows error codes. What it does:

  • Interprets keypad and temperature-sensor inputs to switch bake and broil relays
  • Regulates preheat and maintains the set temperature throughout the cycle
  • Controls the clock, timer, and oven display functions
  • Help resolve: no heat, erratic temperatures, unresponsive or blank display, beeping or error codes
What's included:
  • 1 electronic oven control board
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before servicing; verify no power is present
  • Use ESD precautions and handle the board by its edges to avoid damage
  • Note/photograph wire locations and move connectors one at a time; do not force pins
  • Reuse original mounting hardware; after reassembly, restore power and set clock—some models require configuration/programming per service instructions

Answer

Hello Don, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. I think you are correct, it would be very unlikely for both igniters and/or both coils in the control valve to go bad at the same time. Control [WB27X27464] or temperature sensor [WB21X5301] would be my suspects here. The temp sensor should read about 1.1kOs and room temperature, I would check that and all connections between the control board, the temp sensor, the igniters, and the valve are secure and in good condition.
