Chris J for Model Number Hotpoint NVLR333EVOWW The felt seal (that the drum rides on the top front has come loose and fallen down inside. The result was a really hot spot there on the dryer drum (friction?) and a burning smell (lint). The felt item looks pretty nasty so I though I would get a new one. HOW do I attach it to the dryer frame so it stays in place. It was loose when we cleaned out the lint last year and I tucked it back where I thought it belongs but it apparently didn't stay.
