John S. for Model Number ZV750 A 6.1 amp/250v fuse was used, but it only lasts for less than one minute after turning the fan and lights on. What is the problem?
Answer Hello John, This sounds like a short to ground is present or you have an excessive current flow from a bad component. On this kind of hood, I have found several instances where the wiring was pinched during the installation. You should definitely trace the wiring and insure there are no naked wires or pinching which could violate the insulative quality of the harness.
