Hughes for Model Number 363.59575994 Model 363.59575994. Everything appears to be working, fans, compressor etc. There is frost in the freezer and neither the fridge or freezer are cold. We were told we would need to replace the defrost heater tubes. Does this seem logical?
Answer Hello Hughes. You will need to test the heater assembly WR51X10029 and see if it is bad. It should read closed for continuity when cold. Also, you can test the defrost thermostat the same way. It should read closed for continuity when cold. If either one is open, you will need to replace it. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
