Slc She for Model Number PSS26NSTDSS I have seen it asked before but not a helpful answer. I am replacing this defroster (again) since the one I just replaced it with 5 months ago melted the connectors and I need to replace the 1/8 female spade connectors. My problem is I have search high and low online and in every store around me for high temperature female 1/8 insulated connectors for this application and I can't find them anywhere. It is getting very frustrating. My part will be delivered tomorrow from you guys but I have no way to hook it up. Can you please provide a link or any information on where I can find these connectors or something that you would recommend to connect it with?? Been living out of a cooler for a week so asap would be great! Thank you so much!

You don't really need "hi temp " terminals, but brass connectors would be nice. the heater is energized for 10 to 15 minutes, as long as the terminals are crimped to the wires properly and tightly you shouldn't have any issues. Just make sure you don't handle the heater by the glass tube or disturb the connectors at the end of the tube, That's where and when most of the problems occur, Read More...
