Answer Hello Mariana. There are a few things that could be causing the problem. The heater [WR49X391], The defrost thermostat [WR50X55], and the defrost timer [WR9X482]. You can test the components to determine the problem. Using a meter you can test the thermostat, and the heater for continuity. If they read open then they will be bad and need to be replaced.
