Jamesd for Model Number pfss6pkw / pfsf6pkw Our icemaker door has been stuck closed for some time. We defrosted and it still was jammed. We tried turned the ice crusher manually to see if that would help, and it made it open a little more. We then tried running the dispenser to loosen it, and apparently the ice maker itself got knocked down off its mounting on the top of the compartment -- worsening the problem Now we're stuck. How can we get into this drawer to assess what's wrong without destroying the whole drawer assembly? I'm afraid that kind of expense might make ice trays not so bad anymore. This whole thing seems like a really bad design.
