Mark H. for Model Number PFSS6PKWBSS In order to replace the icemaker on this unit what connections will I have to disconnect? Is there only an electrical plug pack? Is there a water line connection also that will need to be disconnected and reconnected? Thanks
Answer Hi Mark. Turn off the ice maker switch. Then reach in back of the ice maker to un clasp the electrical connecter in by the back wall. There is a center side "lock" that needs to be depressed as you pull the connecter away from the back wall. Un bolt the upper 2-screws and one lower front screw. Replace the ice maker part # WR30X10097. Remember the ice maker will have to reach freezer temperatures in order for the water to fill the ice maker tray for the first time. Thank You. Read More...
