Murray W for Model Number Hotpoint DLB1550BDL WH The dryer was making a lot of noise. I purchased a rear bearing repair kit, part #WE25M40. On the original drum bearing, there was a circlip on the end of the shaft. I assume this was to keep the drum from moving forward toward the front of the dryer. There were also 3 or 4 thrust bearings, which I can't remember in what positions they were installed. My question is, does the new bearing eliminate this circlip and thrust bearings? Seems like the only thing keeping the drum from moving forward would be the felt ring around the inside of the door.... Thanks!
