Mike for Model Number Jbp66dm2ww On my GE stove the "burner on" and the "hot cooktop" light will not turn off after you turn off the individual burners. From an operational stand point everything works but the lights just will not turn off. Can you tell me which part needs to be replaced. I'm not sure if the issue is the infinite switch, the surface light switch or the surface unit switch. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Answer Hello Mike. You will need to replace the switch on the unit that us sending power to the light while turned off. Test the spade marked "P". You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
