Susan Peters for Model Number EER3000H00BB Hi, have been having trouble with the largest burner (dual burner) of my GE Eterna stove, vintage 2003 or 2004. It has been slow to heat and I'd gotten in the habit of putting it on high (to get it moving), then turning it down to cook. Now, it seems overly hot on all settings and there is a very definite burning, electrical smell. Questions: (1) Does the burner control switch need to be replaced? (2) Or is it the large haliant element or both? (3) What is the difference between a radiant element and a haliant element? Thanks for your help. Look forward to a solution to the problem! Susan
Answer Susan, This issue of not being able to regulate the temperature would be caused by a faulty switch. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 3, 2022
