Joe for Model Number GE JSP47BF2BB On the right front dual burner, the small, interior burner work at all temperature ranges from low to high, but the outside burner only comes on at around temperature setting 6 and works fine when set higher. Is this the symptom of a bad switch or element?
Answer Joe, No , in fact this appears to be a dual infinite switch and element that is working properly. At the lower temperature settings the "inner" element will come on and cycle, during the cooking process. When set at the higher temperature settings the large outer element will activate and both elements(inner and outer element rings) will cycle off and on during the cooking process. Read More...
