Brian for Model Number JBP79BB1B We have a GE JBP79BB1BB. The front right dual burner works but has no level control. No matter what the position of the control knob, you either have full on or off; nothing else. The control of either small or large burner selection does work. Will part #AP3189829 fix this problem? Answer Hi Brian. Quickly you can use a flashlight to look in from the top down onto each burner element "ribbon" and see if there is a open break in it. If not then look at the back of the infinite switch for a bad connection or a burnt spot. You need to test the infinite for 240 vac on small, medium and high settings on H1 and H2 terminals. If you do not have the voltage at all 3 - settings then replace the switch. The infinite switch is part # WB24T10063. Thank You. Read More...
