Max for Model Number GSL25JFPBBS Is there an easy way to take out the pin that holds the solenoid plunger to the solenoid display collar. My stirrup solenoid connector cracked in two. Also my water and ice does not dispense what can be the cause of this. Also if its not easy to take out the pin is there any way to get the whole arm stirrup up and display with plunger as one piece?
Answer Max, To remove the pin you would want to have a small punch that you can tap the pin out a little then get ahold of with pliers and work it out. The solenoid cannot be gotten as a complete assembly. The dispenser not working you will first want to make sure that it is not in child lock. If not then you will want to check the lever to make sure that it is making contact with the switch. It could be a warped lever.
