Rachel for Model Number AP2044893 The start switch on my dryer is broke. The knob fell off about 2 years ago, and we've been using plyers to turn the metal knob to dry our clothes. Well, we have worn the metal stem out, and now it's broken off. Are those easy to replace? Also, can you take the metal piece out, to replace with a new, and add a new knob? Thank you, Rachel :-)
Answer Hello Rachel! If the shaft on the start switch itself has broken the start switch will need to be replaced as well as the broken knob. We will need your appliance model number to verify the correct part numbers used on your appliance. Thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 4, 2011
