Doug for Model Number DDE7200SBLWW The plastic shaft on the starter knob has snapped off clean flush with the dryer. From the other questions here it looks like it's called the start switch shaft on the start switch. For model dryer, what part do I need to order to replace it and how do I install it? Thanks!
Answer Hello Doug. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the start switch WE4X782 is bad. You will need to remove the cover on the back of the control panel to access and replace the switch. Make sure the power is disconnected before doing the repair. Be sure and plug the wires on the new switch to the same location as the old switch. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, April 6, 2012
