Linda S for Model Number DVLR223ETOWW I have this old dryer - it is missing the "Start know", someone had put a regular wood screw in its place. From what I can tell there is no pin for a new knob to go in to. There is a small metal plate with a plastic looking center, but that is what someone put that screw into. Does this plate, behind the knob that the pin goes in need to be replaced as well? I know I need the knob and probably the pin, but I don't know bow the pin would go in, unless I replace this plate that it goes into as well. Can you give me part numbers for the plate, the pin and the knob that I could use to fix this dryer. It works fine, just can't turn it off without the switch. Thanks
Answer Linda, The start switch will have the shaft that the knob goes on. The part number for the switch is WE4X881 and the knob would be part number WH1X2721. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 28, 2013
