Gordon for Model Number GE Wall Oven M/N unknown, Name plate info is "cooked-off" After running the clean cycle I got an "F2" error and the oven door was latched shut. The GE Repairman, managed to get the oven door open and told me that he thought that I needed an oven door latch assembly. I think that I am capable of replacing the part. Once I get it out, I guess that I could get the P/N from it? And, does my problem sound like a faulty oven latch problem? Thanks, Gordon
Answer Hello Gordon. No, the F2 code is for over temperature and either the sensor or board may be bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
