William, the lid lock [OEM21676754] can be tested from the wires plugging into the main control [OEM21676712] after unplugging the power supply cord. With the lid closed, there should a resistance of 70 Ohms when testing from the yellow wire to the red wire. If the resistance measures properly, the main control has failed. If the meter reads open, try pressing on the lid corner just above the strike to identify if resistance becomes evident. If it does, the lid has warped and would need to be corrected.
