Chris for Model Number ge washer(wjsr2080t2aa) Is there a way to test the lid switch out of the washer to see if it's still good? Or does it have to be hooked up?
Answer Hello Chris. Yes, you will check the micro-switch for continuity. It should read closed when the lid switch is pressed down like the lid is closed. If it reads open, you will need to replace the lid switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
