Kim for Model Number WJSE3110A0WW My GE Washer will not agitate or spin. The repair guy says the problem was the belt. It worked for two loads now it's doing the same thing! What could it be? The repair guy now says its the lift/lid switch, not sure which one of those but now he's not answering and I'm not sure he knows what he's doing, please help!
Answer Hello Kim! If the unit is not going into the spin mode it could well possibly the the lid switch WH12X10141. If the lid switch has become defective, it will not allow the unit to go into a spin mode as a safety feature. You can check the lid switch with a multimeter MA-DM1. Here is a link from our free repair forum you can refer to for help with using a multi meter. Hope this helps, thanks! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
