Dan for Model Number gld4160l My upper spray arm does not seem to br moving much. The d/w is pretty clean and I think the fix should be simple. The upper arm looks good and the conduit that goes from the arm to the opening on the back where the water is to come through seems good. I dont think the arm is clogged inside not allowing enough water pressure. Maybe the conduit #wd12x10052 is not tight enough to back of opening. The flanged end might be enlarged and sloppy from wear not anabeling a snug fit. The phone rep said it could be one of the filters at the bottom of unit not allowing enough d/w pressure. I dont think that is the problem. Maybe again the upper arm might not be designed to move that much but I dont think that is right. I think this should be a easy fix if something is really wrong. Can I get some imput on what you think the cure is if any. It just doesnt seem right. I dont want to just guess and start buying all kinds of parts. The dishes seem to be getting clean but that upper arm seems like it should be moving better. Can you please respond? Thank you dan.
Answer Hello Dan. Check and see if the water inside the unit is filling up to the bottom of the heater on the unit. If not, then you will need to replace the water valve in the unit to allow more water to enter the unit to aide in the pressure for the top spray arm. Read More...
