Kathy for Model Number Htwp1400f1ww I would like to order a lid switch replacement and magnet replacement for my hotpoint washer. When doing cross referencing, I am told that the parts are not compatible with my htwp1400f1ww model but are compatible with the htwp1400f0ww model. Is there a difference between the two models? Would the htwp1400f0ww parts work on my washing machine?
Answer Kathy, The "Compatibility Tool" isn't always correct, especially when the manufacturer replaces a part with a new/revised part number. We did use the manufacturers parts and service library to check and review and verify the parts needed for the model number you supplied. The WH12X10276 / WH12X10276 Magnet Assembly, and the WH12X10334 / WH12X10334 WASHING MACHINE LID SWITCH ASSEMBLY, would be the correct parts to order for the washer model number you supplied.
