Alan for Model Number JKP86-27" The microwave unit stopped heating. Everything with the unit appears normal. It works as usual except it will not heat. The normal humming noise is a bit lower in pitch than normal and there is a slight burning smell. I didn't notice anything burned inside upon removal of the side panel. I removed the magnetron and it looks new as best as I can tell. Are you able to tell me what component(s) I need to replace to fix my microwave. Thanks!
Answer Hello Alan, A low frequency growl is normally an indication of a failed high voltage transformer such as AP2026096. I cannot guarantee this is the correct part for you model since the model number posted is only a partial number. You can either re-post with the full model number or call us at 1-877-477-7278 anytime 24/7 with the full model number and one of our representatives will be happy to assist in locating any parts needed.
