Bozosboss for Model Number GTW460ASJ5WW Washer stops after agitating, does not progress to drain and spin or rinse. Found that the drain pump motor was damaged. The motor rotor had "eaten" through the housing causing the rotor to lock up. Replaced same. Lid lock mechanism was not working so I replaced the entire lid lock mechanism (Harness, switch, etc.). Running through the maintenance diagnostics I could now get the tub to drain but the spin test would not work since the lid lock would not lock. Checked the J513 connector on the control board and found that one pin (1 or 3) had 120vac constantly ON (is this proper?). From the J513 connector to the lid lock switch I measured 100 ohms between pins 1 & 3 with the lid closed and zero ohms with the lid open. No other continuity could be found between pins 1 - 2, or 2- 3. I am now out of $156+ and debating whether I should purchase a new control board. Any thoughts on this??
Answer Bozosboss, With what you have tested, it does sound likely that the control board will be the cause for this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 26, 2022
